IT’S SOY DELICIOUS® - FRUIT SWEETENED

With the epidemic rise in diabetes many of our consumers are looking to avoid the consumption of white sugar (sucrose). It’s Soy Delicious™ has no white sugar added and has become a favorite for the serious natural food consumer because it is sweetened with a blend of fruit concentrates, brown rice syrup and tapioca syrup. Our It’s Soy Delicious® pint line has experienced an astounding resurgence in sales with sales volumes increasing 55% over the 52-week period ending February 2003. As a result Turtle Mountain has created (6) new tantalizing flavors. Five of the six new flavors have been formulated to meet the claim for lowfat. These flavors are labeled “low fat” on the front panel of the package. In addition, later this year we are changing the formulations and packaging of two of our eight existing flavors to the low fat formula. Like our other successful product lines, we have been receiving requests for more flavors. The addition of 6 new items will create a second shelf of this dominant line for those retailers that want two shelves. The new flavors are as follows:

Vanilla Fudge
A rich swirl of fudge sauce swirled in a creamy vanilla non-dairy frozen dessert base.

Black Leopard
Mild chocolate-coffee flavored ice cream with just the right hint of cinnamon.

Mango Raspberry
A fresh raspberry sauce swirled in a cool and creamy mango flavored non-dairy frozen dessert base.

Tiger Chai
A rich and creamy Chai flavored non-dairy frozen dessert.

Pistachio Almond
Roasted almonds blended in a rich pistachio flavored non-dairy frozen dessert base.

Green Tea
A true to flavor green tea non-dairy frozen dessert.

It’s Soy Delicious is made with organic soymilk and has not white sugar added.

SWEET NOTHINGS® PINTS

In 1993, we introduced Sweet Nothings® non-dairy frozen dessert. It quickly became a huge sensation during the fat free years of the 90’s. With obesity continuing to rise we are seeing a resurgence in the demand for fat free non-dairy products! Combined with the fact that we add no white sugar to this product it makes for a natural healthy alternative. Our new all natural formulation that is so rich and creamy consumers will find it hard to believe that it has no fat. In addition, this wonderful new formula is fortified with calcium, which we make clear on the front of the package with an eye-catching stamp that reads “A Good Source of Calcium”.

We have remained true to our loyal Sweet Nothings® customer base because it is made without soy, fat and white sugar. Last but not least, it contains chicory root extract, which is a natural source of inulin. Inulin has been shown to improve the body’s digestive track as well as its ability to absorb calcium. Because chicory root extract is a natural dietary fiber, each serving of Sweet Nothings® provides over 8% of the recommended daily fiber intake. The flavors are as follows:
